Atlantic Council of Finland Delegation Visits SEA

President of SEA Marek Goliszewski and Chairman of Executive Council of SEA Janusz Onyszkiewicz met on 12 November 2014 at SEA headquarters with representatives of the Atlantic Council of Finland. SEA’s guest was Terhi Suominen, Secretary General of the Atlantic Council of Finland.

The organization is thematically linked to and interested in SEA’s activities. During the meeting, Terhi Suominen talked about the activities of the Atlantic Council of Finland, while President Goliszewski shared SEA’s experiences. They talked about the state of public debate on the possibility of Finland’s membership in NATO as well as Poland’s assessment of the most recent NATO summit. Terhi Suominen was also interested in assessing the impact the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has had on Finland’s security. The meeting was a unique opportunity to share experiences and exchange expertise between the two organizations.
