The Youth Section of the Euro-Atlantic Association (SA-SEA) was established on 26 September 1996 by students of the University of Warsaw. In June 2008, after a period of inactivity, the section renewed its activity and began a new phase of operations. The Youth Section brings together young people interested in Polish foreign policy, international affairs and issues related to wider national security.
The Youth Section’s primary objective is to promote knowledge concerning the main issues surrounding Polish foreign policy, through educational activities with a particular emphasis on Poland’s role in NATO and the European Union.
Aforementioned activities are meant to educate young people about Poland’s membership in the European Union and NATO and enable them to communicate this acquired knowledge and apply it in practice. Our Foreign Policy Seminars, which bring together our members as well as other invited students interested in international issues, aim to do just that.
We want to fill the gap we believe exits in the education of Polish youth when it comes to foreign policy and international relations.
Our activities are focused on organizing international and national competitions, conferences, meetings and trips.
We also put emphasis on our membership in YATA, because we believe it is important for young Poles to foster contacts with their peers in other countries. We believe that such contacts will contribute to the development of our society as a whole.
The Section can always count on substantive assistance of Euro-Atlantic Association members in all its activities. Thanks to their willingness to cooperate, together with our hard work and energy it will be possible to provide a wide range of young people with the knowledge which our section members possess.
We wszystkich naszych działaniach mamy zapewnioną pomoc merytoryczną członków Stowarzyszenia Euro-Atlantyckiego. Dzięki ich woli współpracy oraz naszej pracy i energii będzie możliwe przekazanie szerokiej rzeszy młodych ludzi wiedzy, którą posiadają członkowie Stowarzyszenia.
